I like this logo. It does exactly what it says on the tin! And being a Scot, it is more than a little meaningful...

Coming from Australia, I've never seen this logo before. But I love it. So the fish were drawn in by the locals yeah? Pure f'n gold...

Ken's remark about the inventiveness of this Corporate Identity was a reference to the multitude of variations of this logo. Similar to a fishmonger's board, each shop was free to scribble the series of fish as they choose.

Can't see why Ken thinks this is inventive, though I agree it's endearing. Reminds me of the suburban high streets of my adolesence. Looks now like a road sign prohibiting fish parking.

Just thinking... would McDonalds allow such a company name to exist today? They already have a McFish - sure haven't they registered everything Mc.
(And another thought - have you noticed that the Burger King logo has got rid of the burger!)

not one, not two , but three Christian symbols in the one logo! Must be SOME sort of record. Come to think of it, it looks pretty 'host-like' as well. Should have some loaves however.

There have been many more ambitious, more compendious - and, some would say, more grandiose - corporate identity schemes than this in the last thirty years; but none, I think, more sympathetic, more inventive or more endearing.
