This logotype is a Bob Noorda (co-founder of Unimark) masterpiece. Unlike much work by his Dutch comtemporaries, like Crouwel and Bos, this hasn't dated at all. R.I.P.

The logotype presently used - a simple white M set in 'Futura' and framed in a red square - is destitute of wit, originality and memorability... resurrect Noorda's masterpiece!!!

I agree totally with the previous contributor. Just look at the negative space between the two Ms: two arrows.. sublime!

I was surprised to learn in the book that this fine mark was never fully implemented. The impression given by numerous design journals and annuals is that it is still in use... 'pity, as Noorda's symbol is a masterpiece!
